With the new year upon us, and many people thinking about New Year’s Resolutions, especially losing weight or being healthier, I thought I would share some some health tips over the next few weeks from the Health & Fitness Tips article “10 Essential Health Tips“. Of course, many of these are common sense, however, even I need to be reminded of these basic tips on a regular basis : ) Let’s go!
Tip #9: Take Time to Relax
“Spend 20 minutes a day doing something that is relaxing and not work related. Try taking a walk, stretching, reading a book, or doing yoga. These activities can help you keep your energy level up and feel better longer than eating a candy bar, drinking a soda, or eating a bag of chips.”
