Move through soreness

Unless it’s severe, stretch or walk often when you’re in the midst of post-exercise aches and pains. “The worst thing you can do when you’re sore is be a slug and lie on the couch,” says Brad Schoenfeld, author of Sculpting Her Body Perfect. The more active you are, the more nutrients your blood delivers to your muscles, promoting a faster recovery.
