Keep track of anything with a location device from PocketFinder
Filed Under Security, Technology, Travel
Here is another product that was featured at last week’s 2008 Consumer Electronics Show that I thought executives could really benefit from…
PocketFinder has a small location device that works both indoors and outdoors. According to PocketFinder, “an authorized user can track the device location at anytime from almost anywhere via the internet, cellular phone, or from a fixed-wire telephone.”
The device is waterproof… the size of a silver dollar… has a rechargeable battery that is good for up to 7 days… retails for @$129… and has a monthly service fee of @$15.
Here are some potential uses…
1. Keep track of your luggage when traveling
2. Keep track of your company vehicle and receive alerts if your vehicle goes outside a specified zone or goes above a specified speed limit
3. Keep track of your child and receive alerts if your child goes outside a specified zone or goes above a specified speed limit
4. Keep track of an elderly parent etc. and receive alerts if your parent goes outside a specified zone
5. Keep track of your dog and receive alerts if your dog goes outside a specified zone
6. Allow others to keep track of you when you go back country skiing, hiking, etc.
