Sony’s new e-book reader “PRS-505″ competes with Amazon’s “Kindle”

A few weeks ago I reported on Amazon’s new e-book reader “Kindle”, Sony recently launched a competing product called the “PRS-505″.
USA Today did a story “E-book readers by Sony, Amazon have their charms” comparing the two products. See my table below highlighting the key variables.
In summary, although the PRS-505 is cheaper, slightly lighter, and a bit more stylish… the Kindle is still likely the better buy as it offers much more book/media options and allows you to download them from anywhere via the free wireless setup.
