Optimize your life, career, and business

According to the North Jersey Media Group story “Verizon offers flexible future“, Verizon Wireless announced that it will open its network in ‘08 to phones and other devices it doesn’t sell.

What does this mean for us executives?

For those of us on Verizon’s network… likely cheaper and / or better cell phones… since more phone manufacturers will be producing phones that are compatible with Verizon’s network.

For those of us on Sprint’s network… likely the option to utilize your old Sprint compatible phone if you switch to Verizon’s network… since Sprint and Verizon use the same CDMA standard (AT&T and T-Mobile use the same GSM standard).

Regardless of what network you are on… Verizon may be blazing a path for the other cell network providers to follow… in turn, there may be cheaper and / or better cell phone options for everyone.
