Optimize your life, career, and business

If you get your daily dose of world and business news via TV like I do, you will be happy to know there are many more high definition TV channels on the way.

According to the USA Today story HDTV’s clarity gives rise to new channels, “about 32% of U.S. homes — or nearly 37 million households — now have high-definition sets, the Consumer Electronics Association says.” This has fueled the satellite and cable companies to offer more high definition TV channels. According to the USA Today story, “DirecTV, which has 16.3 million subscribers, has ramped up offerings with a goal of 100 by the end of the year. Additions include A&E, Bravo, Food Network, HGTV, National Geographic, Nickelodeon and USA.”

Most importantly, CNN launched it’s own high definition channel last month. See the Broadcasting & Cable story CNN HD Primed for Launch.
